HOW WE USE AI
Rules decide which regulatory documents your project should hold. AI reads your contracts and planning documents for more, files what arrives and answers questions. People choose which contract findings are added, confirm and sign off. Here’s which part does what.
AssetDrive’s rulebook of UK regulations and standards is applied to your project’s facts, such as height, homes, systems and tenure. The same facts give the same list. Items AI finds in your contracts are added only when your team accepts them.
It runs the setup conversation, reads contracts and planning documents, files your uploads, reads dates from certificates and answers questions about your project, with sources.
Your team reviews what AI isn’t sure of, confirms the dates that matter most, approves documents and accepts handovers.

The rulebook applies these laws, and the official guidance that goes with them, to your project’s facts. A line on your list can show which one it comes from.

Rules, not AI, for regulations and standards. The rulebook is applied to your project’s facts. A line can show the regulation or standard behind it and the fact that triggered it, for example a storey above 11 metres. Your team can add its own items.

AI reads contracts for what they ask you to provide, such as documents to hand over. You choose which of its findings to add before anything changes.

Keyword rules sort planning documents first. AI categorises the ones the rules can’t place.

AI reads each planning decision notice and lists its conditions, keeping the wording of each one. Every condition links back to the notice, so your team can check it against the original.

Rules try first, then AI models. AI files what it’s sure of. Anything uncertain waits for your team, and creating or merging items always waits for review, however confident the AI is.

AI reads test, issue and expiry dates from certificates. The dates that matter most, such as on gas safety records, EICRs and structural warranties, wait for a person to confirm. If a date can’t be read, you’re asked to set it.

AssetDrive AI answers from your project’s records and documents, and from a library of regulations. Answers link to their sources. If it can’t verify an answer, it says so. It can draft a report for you to review.

In a home’s handbook, AI answers only from the documents published for that home. Questions about repairs or work on gas, wiring or safety devices are pointed to a qualified professional.

People only. Approvals, sign-off and handover acceptance are recorded against the person who made them.

To do this work, AssetDrive sends AI providers the document text, file names and project details each step needs, and the questions you ask. For a scanned document that local text recognition can’t read, the page images or the file itself are sent.

Poor scans and handwritten dates may not be readable. AssetDrive asks you to set the date rather than guess one.

When AssetDrive AI can’t verify an answer, the answer wasn’t found in what it could search. That doesn’t mean a document is missing.
